Therapy is scheduled 1-2 times each week. We will determine a consistent day and time to meet. I work with clients through short (8-12 sessions), medium (3-12 months), and long periods of time (several years) depending on their circumstances and goals for therapy. I use an integrated therapeutic approach to explore areas of concern, recognize patterns, connect dots, and illuminate blindspots that are often impossible to see on our own.
Couples therapy is scheduled weekly and tends to be shorter (8-24 sessions) than individual therapy. Many people are nervous about couples therapy because they fear being blamed for the problems in their relationship. Rather than looking for one of you to blame, my approach to couples therapy is that there is a dynamic created by both partners; we identify and understand your relational cycles that lead to opposition and disconnection. We focus on re/discovering and strengthening your emotional bond.
